About the Artist
Paul Klee (1879–1940) was a Swiss-born artist and one of the most original figures of early modernism. A teacher at the Bauhaus alongside Kandinsky, Klee developed a singular visual language that drew on music, poetry, and nature. His work often explored the relationship between color and form, and he was known for his meticulous, almost musical approach to composition.
About This Print
This print features Color Chart ('Qu 1'), an abstract geometric painting from 1930. The work features vibrant blocks of color arranged in a rhythmic, grid-like composition—a meditation on color and pattern.
